Care worker experience is not essential as we provide full in-house training and an annual refresher. We encourage personal development and conduct regular supervisions and appraisals.

Care Worker

As a Care Worker your key responsibilities will be:

  • To enable service users to remain in their own homes by providing the support and care needed to help them achieve maximum independence
  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting service users, as required, with washing, dressing, toileting, undressing, meal preparation, assisting self-administration of prescribed medication and all other aspects of daily living
  • Assisting service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g physical, emotional, spiritual) providing attention when needed, whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity
  • To encourage service users to regain their confidence
  • To respect the service users and strive to establish and maintain their trust and confidence
  • To undertake all duties as identified in the person-centred care plan
  • To document all care given in accordance with polices and procedures
  • To record and report any changes in circumstances in the service users social or health conditions to a care manager
  • To comply with all risk assessments that are put in place and to be responsible for notifying the acre manager of any changes /updates
  • To report any complaints, incidents or accidents immediately


  • Mobile, with own transport and full driving licence
  • Genuine interest in working in a caring environment
  • Willingness to participate in training programmes
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Flexible availability – able to work days and hours that fit the needs of the company within reasonable timescales

Due to the nature of the role all candidates require an enhanced DBS check (paid by the employer), to hold a full UK driving license and own a car
